NHL Central Scouting recognized former Los Angeles Jr. King Brendan Brisson on its midterm rankings of 2020 draft-eligibles, which were released today.

Brisson, a forward, is listed No. 31 among North American skaters (a potential first-to-second-round selection).

A University of Michigan recruit, Brisson has totaled 15 goals for 30 points through 26 games this season with the United States Hockey League’s (USHL) Chicago Steel. The 2001-born Brisson, who was named the USHL Forward of the Week for the week ending Nov. 17, represented his country last month with the U.S. Junior Select Team that competed in the World Junior A Challenge in Dawson Creek, British Columbia.

Brisson was also one of 20 current USHL players selected to compete in the upcoming All-American Game, which will be showcased on Jan. 20 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich. The contest will feature the top American-born prospects eligible for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.

The 2020 NHL Entry Draft will be conducted on June 26-27 at Bell Centre in Montreal.
