Former Los Angeles Jr. King Drew Vieten has announced his commitment to attend and play his NCAA Division I hockey at Niagara University following his junior career.
A 2001-born forward, Vieten has totaled 13 goals for 29 points through 30 games this season as a member of the North American Hockey League’s Wichita Falls Warriors.
Vieten tweeted: “Excited and honored to announce my commitment to play Division 1 hockey at Niagara University. Can’t thank my family, friends, coaches, and billets enough for giving me the opportunity to pursue my dream! #uncommon #purpleeagles”
Located in Upstate New York, Niagara competes in the Atlantic Hockey Association.
