Our friend Jeff Scarbrough, the father of Los Angeles Jr. Kings 04 AAA player Justin Scarbrough, has fallen ill.
On April 7, Jeff suddenly went into respiratory arrest, which led to cardiac arrest. He was rushed to the hospital where he fell into a coma. Jeff is the husband to Sandy and also the father to daughter Kaitlyn and son Brett.
While Jeff does remain in a coma and has shown small signs of improvement, he still has a long road to recovery ahead of him. Sandy is employed as a teacher, but with the loss of Jeff's income and medical bills growing now and in the future the Scarbrough's could use our help.
The things nearest and dearest to Jeff's heart are his kids and their hobbies. Kaitlyn is a talented artist, Brett does horseback riding and Justin plays ice hockey, which is how many of you know the family. Jeff is staple at the ice rink and his presence will be missed while he recovers.
Please continue to keep Jeff and his family in your thoughts and prayers and wish him a speedy recovery!
