Regularly attracting plenty of Jr. Kings families, the Tour de Pier is a stationary cycling fundraising event held in Manhattan Beach that supports three cancer charity organizations: the Uncle Kory Foundation; Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research; and Cancer Support Community.

Renee Vachon, the wife of Jr. Kings’ general manager of hockey operations Nick Vachon and mother of Jr. Kings’ Pee Wee Major 05 goaltender Cal Vachon, organized the Jr. Kings’ stellar participation.
