Five Jr. Kings grads celebrate BCHL title

Five former Los Angeles Jr. Kings - Nicholas Kent, Noah Kim, Jacob Modry, Murphy Stratton and Jackson Wozniak - celebrated a British Columbia Hockey League championship yesterday as members of the Wenatchee Wild.

Five former Los Angeles Jr. Kings celebrated a British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) championship yesterday (April 19) as members of the Wenatchee Wild.

The Jr. Kings grads include: forwards Murphy Stratton and Jackson Wozniak; and defensemen Nicholas Kent, a Quinnipiac University recruit, Noah Kim, and Jacob Modry, a RPI recruit.

Wenatchee, which finished third in its division with a 37-16-4-1 regular-season record, captured the BCHL’s Fred Page Cup after its 3-0 victory over the Prince George Spruce Kings in Game 5 of the playoff finals to win the series, 4 games to 1.
