Former Los Angeles Jr. King Dustin Wolf was one of 42 players selected to compete in this year’s USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game, which will be showcased on Sept. 19 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Now in its seventh year, the USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game assembles the top U.S. players who are eligible for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft.

In 20 regular-season appearances last season as a rookie with the Western Hockey League’s (WHL) Everett Silvertips, the 2001-born goaltender fashioned a 13-6 record, including four shutouts, to compliment a 2.25 goals-against average and .928 save percentage. He also appeared in one playoff game.

Wolf, who backstopped the Jr. Kings’ Bantam Major team to a Pacific District championship in 2015-16, was named both the WHL and Canadian Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Oct. 29.

Earlier this month, Wolf helped the U.S. Under-18 Team secure a fourth-place finish at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, which was contested in Red Deer and Edmonton, Alberta.

Players selected to compete in the All-American Prospects Game were chosen by USA Hockey in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting.

The 2019 NHL Entry Draft will be conducted on June 21-22 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
