Former Los Angeles Jr. King Andre Ghantous has announced his commitment to attend and play his NCAA Division I hockey at Northern Michigan University following his junior career.
Ghantous, a 1998-born forward, has four goals for 12 points through 15 games this season with the Penticton Vees of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). He played his first two years of junior with the BCHL’s Trail Smoke Eaters.
Ghantous posted on his Twitter: “Excited to announce my commitment to play college hockey at Northern Michigan University. I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for the support and help along the way.”
Led by head coach Grant Potulny, the Wildcats are members of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
