For the fourth time this season, former Los Angeles Jr. King and NHL draft prospect Dustin Wolf was named the WHL Goaltender of the Week as a member of the Everett Silvertips.

Former Los Angeles Jr. King Dustin Wolf was named the Western Hockey League (WHL) Goaltender of the Week and league nominee for the Canadian Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Jan. 27.

In two appearances this week, the Everett Silvertips netminder sported a 2-0-0-0 record, including one shutout, to compliment a stingy 0.50 goals-against-average and .984 save percentage.

On Friday, Wolf stopped all 36 shots in a 2-0 win against the Tri-City Americans to earn his league-leading fifth shutout of the season. The next night, Wolf was again solid in the crease, stopping 25 of 26 shots in a 9-1 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

On the season, Wolf holds a 31-11-1-0 record to go along with a 1.82 goals-against average and .930 save percentage.

Earlier this month, NHL Central Scouting recognized Wolf on its midterm rankings of 2019 draft-eligibles; the 2001 birth year is listed No. 17 among North American goaltenders.

Wolf was also named the WHL Goaltender of the Week for the weeks ending Oct. 28, Nov. 25 and Dec. 9 and WHL Goaltender of the Month for December. He was named the CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Dec. 9.
