The Los Angeles Jr. Kings’ 12U AAA1 team celebrated the championship in its division at last weekend’s SuperSeries-hosted Las Vegas Showcase. The club forged a perfect 7-0 record at the event, outscoring its opponents 37-6.

The Los Angeles Jr. Kings will host a highly prestigious and scouted Tier 1 Elite Hockey League Showcase at the 18U AAA and 16U AAA levels from Oct. 12-15. Admission is free, and the majority of games will be played at Toyota Sports Center.

Former Los Angeles Jr. King Jake McGrew has signed a standard, entry-level contract with the San Jose Sharks. McGrew, who was selected by the NHL club in the 2017 Entry Draft, spent last season skating for the WHL's Spokane Chiefs.
