Registration is now open for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings-hosted Labor Day Festival, which will be showcased from Aug. 30-Sept. 2, 2019 at Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.

Bennett inks NHL deal with Coyotes

The Arizona Coyotes have signed former Los Angeles Jr. King Beau Bennett to a one-year, two-way contract. The 27-year-old forward has 200 career NHL games with the Pittsburgh Penguins, New Jersey Devils and St. Louis Blues under his belt.

Wolf selected by Calgary in NHL Entry Draft

Dustin Wolf, a graduate of the Los Angeles Jr. Kings program, was selected by the Calgary Flames in the seventh round (214th overall) of this year’s NHL Entry Draft, which was conducted on June 21-22 in Vancouver.

Wolf invited to World Junior Summer Showcase

Former Los Angeles Jr. King and NHL draft prospect Dustin Wolf was one of 44 players invited to the 2019 World Junior Summer Showcase that will be held from July 26-Aug. 3 in Plymouth, Mich., at USA Hockey Arena.

Sholl signs AHL deal with Texas

The Texas Stars - the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars - announced today that the team has signed former Los Angeles Jr. King Tomas Sholl to an AHL Standard Player Contract for the 2019-20 season.

Vieten selected in NAHL Draft

Drew Vieten, who led the Los Angeles Jr. Kings’ 18U AAA team in Tier I Elite League scoring last season, was chosen in the fourth round of yesterday’s NAHL draft by the Minnesota Wilderness.

Sixty-four teams from California, Colorado, Minnesota, Utah and British Columbia, as well as the Czech Republic and Russia, converged on four Southern California rinks last weekend to compete in the 10th annual Los Angeles Jr. Kings-hosted Carmen Starr Memorial Day Classic.

Carmen Starr Classic faces off Friday

The Los Angeles Jr. Kings have announced the field and schedule for their 64-team Carmen Starr Memorial Day Classic, which will run from May 24-27 at four Southern California rinks. Teams from four states and British Columbia, as well as the Czech Republic and Russia, will compete.
