Golf tournament set for Monday, August 27

Bennett inks with Dinamo Minsk of KHL

Beau Bennett, a former Los Angeles Jr. King, has signed a one-year contract with Belarus-based Dinamo Minsk of the KHL. A first-round selection of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, the 26-year-old played the majority of last season with the AHL’s Chicago Wolves.

Alum Sholl signs ECHL deal with Idaho

The Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with goaltender Tomas Sholl, a former Los Angeles Jr. King, on an ECHL contract for the 2018-19 season. The 23-year-old joined the Steelheads at the end of February to complete his first professional season.
