The Los Angeles Jr. Kings’ 12U A1 team celebrated the SCAHA championship in its division after its 5-3 triumph over the California Heat in the title game, which was contested yesterday at Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.

The Los Angeles Jr. Kings extend their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Chris Fix, who passed away suddenly last week. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and three sons: Gavin, Nathan and Tobin.

The Los Angeles Jr. Kings’ 14U A and 12U A1 teams advanced to the championship game in their respective divisions of this year’s SCAHA playoffs after winning their semifinal games last weekend in Valencia. All championship games will be played at El Segundo's Toyota Sports Center.

Six Los Angeles Jr. Kings and LA Lions teams advanced through the quarterfinal round of the SCAHA playoffs in their respective divisions to punch their tickets to this weekend’s semifinal round, which will be played on March 16-17 at Ice Station Valencia.
